Paso Robles Wine Country Color & Design Project

Another fun project with my California clients for a vacation home in Paso Robles wine country.

Phase 1 is almost complete for this major renovation.  Posting some preliminary photos, and will update when project is finished.

Paso Robles is a boutique wine region between Los Angeles & San Francisco, and not far from the coast.

It's a bricolage of many personalities and styles.

Below is a close up of the Quartz countertop.   Caesarstone White Attica is one of my favorite quartz - there's just a tad of edginess with the dark gray veining, and it always looks great with a modern dark gray backsplash.

Views from the home are beautiful, as it sits high upon a hill.  Notice the new railing is a modern cable look.  The cables allows optimal views with less obstruction, and the wood warms it up, and relates it to the landscape.

Interior stair railing also designed in a modern style - black metal with warm wood.

Below is the new master bathroom - you can really appreciate the new hickory floors that run throughout most of the home in this photo.   And of course the home needed a barn door!

Selected a dark, almost black floor tile.  I am a fan of dark floors in bathrooms to ground the space, warm up the space, and provide contrasting pop.   And it really brings out the beauty of the wood.

Definitely a fun color & design project for one of my favorite clients.  And loved visited the vineyards!
