Benjamin Moore just announced Simply White as their 2016 Color of the Year. I just specified Simply White for an exterior home this summer.
I love Simply White! One of my favorites whites. Know there are tons of whites out there that vary greatly, both visually, and in the feeling they provoke.
Simply White can be found in Benjamin Moore white collection as #OC-117, or it can be found in the Preview Collection #2143-70.

Simply White reads as a clean white, but a warm clean white. It has a smidgen of yellow undertones. And if you look closely, you can see the hint of yellow that warms it up.
My color project above has Simply White as the main body color, Snow White as the trim, and Hale Navy shutters.
Notice how warm the Simply White looks next to the cold Snow White trim. Snow White has blue undertones (hence- icy cold), and is a great contrast for a bit of pop with Simply White.
Below are all the colors on the Simply White strip - 2143 in the Preview Collection.

|Benjamin Moore Alligator Green 2143-20|
|Benjamin Moore Sage 2143-10|
Olive Branch looks absolutely stunning with brick, and can magically make old brick come alive.
Camouflage is a versatile color, with just enough oomph while still reading a neutral.
Moonlight White is a lovely white, one step darker than Simply White.
I am thrilled Simply White was chosen as Benjamin Moore's 2016 Color of the year.
But as always be sure to test the colors in the space. Color is anything but absolute, and changes with context. And if you need color advice, do not hesitate to contact me for a virtual or on-site consultation.
